Value of Kenyan currency notes in circulation as at June 2023

As at June 2023, the Total Notes and Coins in circulation were worth Kshs 316.058 billion.

Out of all the currency notes in circulation, the 1,000 shillings note formed highest value of all at Kshs 259.461 billion. (Source: Central Bank of Kenya- Statistical bulletin June 2023).
