Fuel is an essential commodity that African economies continue to rely on for their various needs such as transportation and industrial production.
Prices of basic goods and services normally fluctuate in cadence with fuel prices. Hence a sharp rise in fuel prices might lead to civil unrest which may transform into anarchy if the situation is not managed well.
